The announcement comes as the Tattoo prepares to stage its 2026 show, A Call to Gather, at the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade in August. With the Royal Air Force as Lead Service, this year's show centres on the theme of connection, bringing people together from across the globe and celebrating it across cultures and continents. The voice of this year’s Narrator has been announced as Richard Rankin, famed for his role in Rebus and Outlander. He will guide audiences through an emotional and theatrical journey with his unmistakably Scottish tones.
For Loganair, the partnership reflects a network and a mission built on facilitating and enhancing connectivity. The airline connects 40 communities across the UK and further afield, from Shetland in the north to Jersey in the south, operating nearly 70 routes that bring the country's most remote places within reach.
As part of the partnership, this year’s Tattoo ticket holders will benefit from a dedicated discount code to book Loganair flights across the duration of the Tattoo.
Whether you're travelling to the show or looking to explore beyond it, Loganair opens up the very best of the UK. With a network spanning the length and breadth of the country, from the dramatic landscapes of Shetland and the Western Isles to the sun-kissed shores of Jersey, Loganair connects adventure-seekers to destinations that other airlines cannot reach.
Lyn MacDonald, Director of Marketing, Communications and Product at Loganair, said:
The Tattoo has drawn people to Scotland from every corner of the world for decades, and that is precisely what we do every day: bring people together across distances that would otherwise keep them apart.
A Call to Gather goes further than being the theme for this year’s show. It encapsulates the power of regional air travel, in connecting communities. We are looking forward to three years of that story being told together.
Martyn Wilson, Commercial Director for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, said:
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is delighted to welcome Loganair officially on board as our new supporter.
As the UK's largest regional airline, they believe in keeping people connected, from remote communities in the Highlands and Islands to the rest of the country. That commitment to bringing people together mirrors the theme of this year's show, A Call to Gather.
This is a natural fit for the Tattoo, a Scottish airline connecting people across Scotland and beyond.
Customers flying with Loganair benefit from a 21kg baggage allowance included as standard and can also collect Avios through the airline's loyalty programme.
Loganair was named the most punctual major airline for UK arrivals and departures in 2025 (January to September) by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 81% of its flights arriving and departing on time, significantly above the industry average of 72%.
Flying all over Scotland and the UK.
