Loganair launches Singh on a Wing social series with Scottish chef Tony Singh MBE

23 Dec 2025 Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, has announced Singh on a Wing, a new social video series starring celebrated Scottish chef Tony Singh MBE, which launches in January 2026.

The series will see him travel across the airline’s network to showcase Scotland’s food, culture and communities.

Launching with a trailer released ahead of Christmas, Singh on a Wing follows Tony as he flies with Loganair to a series of key regional destinations, meeting local producers, exploring traditional ingredients and creating dishes inspired by each location.

Born and raised in Leith, Edinburgh, Tony is a third-generation Scottish Sikh whose career spans acclaimed restaurants, television appearances and entrepreneurial ventures.

Renowned for his fusion of Scottish and Asian flavours, he is widely recognised for his work promoting Scottish culture and supporting local communities – values that closely align with Loganair’s focus on regional connectivity and community engagement.

The first episode, filmed on Islay, sees Tony take part in seaweed foraging with a local specialist before touring the maltings at Port Ellen. The episode culminates in a cooking segment filmed at Lagavulin Distillery, where Tony prepares a scallop dish inspired by the island’s coastal produce.

In the second episode, Tony travels to Stornoway, where he visits a local crofter and prepares a mutton dish alongside a traditional stovies recipe, highlighting the importance of local food systems and heritage on the islands. A third episode will be filmed in the new year in Tiree.

The Singh on a Wing trailer will be released across Loganair’s social channels between 22 and 23 December, with the three-part series rolling out monthly from January to March 2026.

Lyn MacDonald, Director of Marketing, Communications and Product, said:

Singh on a Wing provides a distinctive platform to showcase the regions we serve and the communities at the heart of our network. Working with Tony allows us to highlight Scotland’s food and culture while reinforcing Loganair’s role in connecting people and places across the country.

Tony Singh MBE said:

Scotland has always been at the heart of what I do, from the ingredients I use to the people I work with. Partnering with Loganair is a great opportunity to celebrate Scotland’s food, culture, and communities while helping to showcase what makes each part of the country unique.

The series forms part of Loganair’s wider partnership with Tony Singh MBE, through which he supports the airline across campaigns, events and collaborations, helping to promote its Scottish roots, regional connections and role in supporting local communities.

Loganair continues to grow its network across the UK, recently adding Jersey routes following the collapse of Blue Islands. It will also establish its 10th regional base in Southampton next year.

In July 2025, the airline celebrated carrying 7.5 million customers since 2017. Earlier this year, Loganair was ranked second in the Which? annual customer survey of short-haul airlines, achieving a 72% customer score, alongside a five-star rating for customer service and four stars for booking, boarding and cleanliness.

The airline was also named the most punctual for UK arrivals and departures in Q2 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 86% of flights arriving and departing on time.

Customers flying with Loganair benefit from a 21kg luggage allowance as standard, alongside convenient regional connectivity and onward connections through the airline’s growing network and partner carriers.

Singh on a Wing will launch on Loganair’s Instagram in January 2026, with new episodes following monthly.
