The Course
Golf has been played at The Machrie, Islay since 1891. Originally designed by Willie Campbell and more recently modernised by course architect DJ Russell, The Machrie combines the best of a traditional, historic links course from a previous age with modern Links.
As the winner of the Best Golf Course (£100-£250) at the 2025 Scottish Golf Tourism Awards, and voted by Golf Monthly as number 52 in their Top 100 UK Courses 2025/26, the Championship Links course at The Machrie tests your need for thought, imagination and creative shot-making every bit as much as your strength and power.
Itinerary
What's included?
- Flights: Day-return flights + your golf clubs.
- Transport: Private airport transfers.
- Golf: Round of Golf on the Championship Links, Use of the Driving Range and the Hebrides Social Course. The use of the Wee Course is available for an additional £15 p/ person.
- Food: Breakfast roll (choice of two available fillings) w/ tea or coffee, two-course lunch in the 18 Restaurant and Bar, Machrie Whisky Miniature (at restaurant or on the course).
- Extras: Use of Wild Garden Sauna and Hot Tubs. £25pp
