Embraer 145: A regional jet suited to time-sensitive corporate, sports and group travel. Its speed, comfortable cabin and ability to serve many regional airports make it a flexible option for specialist journeys.

FAQs about charter flights

Find answers to common questions about planning a charter flight with Loganair. If your requirement is not covered below, submit an enquiry and our charter team will be happy to help.

What types of charter can Loganair provide?

Loganair can support sports team travel, corporate mobility, workforce movements, tour programmes and other organised group travel.

We can provide one-way flights, return charters and regular flight programmes. We can also assess freight enquiries, subject to the aircraft, route and operational requirements.

Are charter flights limited to Loganair’s scheduled network?

No. Charter flights are not restricted to the destinations served by our scheduled network.

Our team will assess your preferred departure and arrival airports against aircraft suitability, airport facilities, operating restrictions and availability before confirming what is possible.

How many passengers can travel?

Loganair can accommodate charter groups of up to 72 passengers, depending on the aircraft, route and operational requirements.

The final capacity may also be affected by baggage, equipment or other specific requirements. Include as much information as possible within your enquiry.

Can I arrange a regular series of flights?

Yes. In addition to one-off and return charters, Loganair can develop regular flight programmes for workforce movements, tour series, and other recurring requirements.

Tell us the proposed frequency, dates, passenger numbers and preferred airports when submitting your enquiry.

How far in advance should I enquire?

We recommend contacting us as early as possible, particularly for regular programmes, larger groups or travel on fixed dates.

Short-notice requirements may also be considered, but all requests remain subject to aircraft and operational availability.

What information should I provide?

Where possible, include:

  • Preferred departure and arrival airports
  • Proposed travel dates and timings
  • Estimated passenger numbers or freight details
  • Whether the requirement is one-off, return or recurring
  • Baggage or equipment requirements
  • Catering, accessibility or other special requests

You can still contact us if some details have not yet been confirmed.

Can special requirements be accommodated?

Tell us about any accessibility, baggage, equipment, catering or other service requirements when completing the form.

Our charter team will assess what can be accommodated based on the proposed aircraft, airports and journey.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?

Our charter team will review the information provided and may contact you for further details. Once the proposed route, aircraft availability and operational requirements have been assessed, the team will outline the available options and next steps.

Submitting the form does not confirm a flight or create a booking. Your charter will only be confirmed once the proposed arrangements and commercial terms have been agreed.
