We have a diverse range of aircraft and base opportunities

Loganair operates engineering bases in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Edinburgh, Kirkwall, Sumburgh, Newcastle, City of Derry Airport and the Isle of Man supporting a fleet including:

ATR 42/72
Embraer 145
Twin Otter
BN-2 Islander

Our engineering staff rotate across line and base maintenance functions and work closely with operational teams.

What We Look For

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and pass security clearances as required by aviation regulations.

Certifying engineers with current Part-66 B1/B2 licences
Aircraft mechanics and technicians with base or line maintenance experience
Engineering graduates or apprentices with a drive to specialise
Team players who take pride in quality, compliance, and problem-solving

Engineering Apprenticeships

We invest in the next generation of aircraft engineers through structured, paid apprenticeships.

Our four-year programmes combine college-based learning with hands-on experience across multiple Loganair engineering bases.

From your first day, you will contribute to real maintenance work on regional aircraft types, gaining the skills and qualifications needed to build a long-term career.
