Weather Disruption – 02 November 2023 - Storm Ciaran Update

As Storm Ciaran approaches, Met Office yellow and amber weather warnings remain in place for Thursday 02 November across the Southwest of the United Kingdom. Airports affected by these warnings are Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Newquay, Southampton, London City and London Heathrow.

The potential for travel disruption in affected areas is high, and we strongly encourage customers to take advantage of our offer to adjust travel plans without charge. Customers booked on the days and routes most likely to be affected by Storm Ciaran have received an email to advise of the option to adjust their booking.

Please note that unless your flight is cancelled, no refund will be offered for any operating service.

You can choose to re-book on an alternative flight up to 7 days from your original travel date. There will be no change fee or difference in fare payable. If there is a seat available on an alternative flight, you can transfer your booking to that flight without charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

If the weather safely allows, we do still plan to fly all our scheduled services, and have standby aircraft and crews in place to help recover any disrupted services as soon as reasonably possible when weather conditions permit.

Please note: If you have already checked-in for your flight, please go Manage my Booking on our website where you can 'un-check' yourself, and re-book. You will not be able to re-book unless you have un-checked yourself in advance.

The easiest way to change your flight is via Manage my Booking on our website.

If you cannot find a suitable alternative there, you can reach our Help Centre on 0344 800 2855, our phone lines are open:

  • Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1800
  • Saturday 0800-1400
  • Sunday 1000-1700

Please have your booking reference handy when you call and we will do our best to help, but please bear in mind that during periods of disruption there may be longer than average waiting times to speak to our team.

At this time, our disruption policy only covers travel on Loganair flights, and we are unable to make changes to any onward travel arrangements that you may have in place with other carriers.

We truly understand the inconvenience that any disruption causes and are grateful for your patience.
