Clan Loganair T&Cs


1.1 Each eligible person applying for membership in the Programme accepts and agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions, which set out the contractual relationship between Loganair and each Member of Clan Loganair. Loganair will receive, store and otherwise process and hold Members Data in connection with administering aspects of Clan Loganair as set out in these Terms and Conditions. Members consent to receiving marketing communications in relation to our range of product and services at time of sign-up, this does not affect your right to later opt-out of the email marketing communications.

1.2 Loganair reserves the right to modify (in whole or in part) or terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice. Modifications may concern rules of the Programme, membership conditions, the amount of Points required for certain destinations, the period of validity of Points, or the number of Points earned by fare category and/or routing.

1.3 Loganair reserves the right, without giving reason at its sole discretion, to rescind or refuse membership of Clan Loganair.

1.4 Loganair reserves the right to terminate Clan Loganair at any time but will use its reasonable endeavours to give at least three months’ notice to Members. Notice of termination will be provided on the website, www.loganair.co.uk

1.5 Each member must have his/her own unique personal e-mail address, and not use their company email address for Clan Loganair.

1.6 Points cannot be transferred between different membership numbers.

1.7 It is not permitted to use the e-mail address of a travel agency, tour operator or travel organiser.

1.8 Loganair reserves the right to audit a Member’s account and records without notice to the Member to check for compliance with the Terms and Conditions.


2.1 Membership in the Programme can be obtained by completing an on-line Application Form

2.2 Persons under 18 years of age, staff of Loganair Limited, its parent, affiliated and associated companies are excluded from joining the Programme.

2.3 Only one Membership is allowed per person. Organisations, corporations and other entities cannot be enrolled as a Member

2.4 Clan Loganair Membership is free of charge.

2.5 Membership is offered at the discretion of Loganair and Loganair reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel Membership of any applicant who does not comply with the Terms and Conditions.

2.6 Applicants accepted as Members will be given a Membership Number and may be provided with a Card. A member may not have multiple Memberships, and thus each Member must maintain only one account. Upon activating their membership, Members agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2.7 Membership termination may occur:

  • if a Member fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions
  • upon the wish of a Member at any time by written notice
  • upon the termination of the Programme
  • upon the death of the Member
  • where an account is dormant for 36 consecutive months
  • where the Member discloses their login and or password to a 3rd party

2.8 Upon Membership termination, all accumulated Points will be cancelled.

2.8.1 Where there is no earning or redeeming activity on a member’s account within a consecutive 12-month period, then all Points accumulated will be cancelled. 

2.9 Members are responsible for the security of their individual logons and passwords and Loganair shall have no liability whatsoever in the event

  • that a Member’s logon and/or password is disclosed by the Member, whether intentionally or not, so as to allow a third person access to the Data and/or to make any transactions.
  • the Member’s card is used fraudulently

2.10 The Member is solely responsible for any tax liability incurred as a result of Membership. Members are advised to check with their accountant or tax advisor on this subject.


3.1 The Point is the basic unit of calculation in the Programme.

3.2 Members are eligible to receive Points for travel in eligible booking classes on scheduled flights operated and marketed by Loganair. Points have no cash value and cannot be sold, traded or exchanged other than for Reward flights under the Programme. Points are not awarded on Code Share or interline flights where Loganair is not the operating carrier, nor on flights operated under contract for the Orkney Islands Council i.e. flights to/from the North Isles of Orkney

3.3 Only public fares are eligible for Points. Any negotiated, inclusive tour, free or complimentary tickets are not eligible for Points.

3.4 It is possible to claim missing Points for flights taken in the past three calendar months but only using the online Missing Points Claim Form and Points will be credited at Loganair’s discretion. Loganair may require proof of travel on the relevant flight including the retained segment of the boarding pass and passenger receipts for the flight claimed to have been flown or previously booked whereby a customer has not claimed points. The Member has responsibility to ensure that their Membership number is entered in their reservation record before the flight. Members should remind their travel agent or Loganair office to enter their Clan Loganair number. When making a booking online the number must be entered at the time of booking.

3.5 Points will automatically expire after 36 months and Expired Points will be automatically deducted from your account. Loganair recommends that you use your Points rather than have them expire.

3.6 Points are not credited for unused, lost or refunded tickets.

3.7 Provided the Member’s account number is in the airline reservation record prior to departure, Points will automatically be credited to a Member’s account after the flight. In the event a flight is cancelled, no Points will be earned.

3.8 In case of any errors (Points credited/debited incorrectly, etc.) Loganair reserves the right to correct the account of any Member.


4.1 As soon as a Member’s account has reached the required Points level a Reward ticket can be booked online at www.loganair.co.uk

4.2 Loganair reserves the right to change the conditions regarding the number of Points required to obtain a Reward and to cancel Reward offers. All Reward tickets are subject to applicable taxes, fees and charges for which the Member will be liable. It is not possible to use Reward Points to pay for a ticket that has already been booked.

4.3 If a Reward ticket request is processed by the Loganair Customer Contact Centre, the Member should submit a request by e-mail (clan@loganair.co.uk) at least ten days before the intended date of travel. Members are encouraged to make Reward bookings well in advance of the date of travel; however, Loganair cannot guarantee that a Member will be able to make a Reward booking on any specific flight regardless of the time of booking.

4.4 Open-dated Reward-tickets are not allowed.

4.5 All Reward tickets are subject to seat availability and to capacity controls (adjusted at Loganair’s sole discretion) in the designated Clan Loganair booking class. The number of seats for Reward tickets is limited, even on flights which are not fully booked. Reward ticket availability is subject to other restrictions including ‘Black Out’ periods and operational limitations.

4.6 Points cannot be combined with cash or any other form of payment to get a Reward ticket.

4.7 Once issued, Reward tickets are subject to the same Conditions of Carriage and the same Fare Rules and Conditions as a Loganair Fly ticket, e.g. a change fee will apply for an itinerary change. Changes to Reward bookings are permitted only in respect of date, time and route, provided that the new route, date or time selected would, as at the date the change is requested, require the redemption of the same amount of Points as was redeemed in making the original booking. Name changes are not permitted.

4.8  If the Reward ticket is not used, Points will be forfeited and not re-credited to the Members account. Where a Reward ticket is not used, the Member may apply for a refund of airport taxes (an administration fee may apply)

4.9 Reward tickets will not be awarded on Code Share flights where Loganair is not the operating carrier. Excess Baggage Allowance payments or other ancillary services do not qualify for Points.

4.10 Loganair reserves the right to limit Point redemptions to 24,000 Points per member, per calendar year.

4.11 Reward tickets are not redeemable for cash, refundable or exchangeable. At no time may Reward tickets be purchased by, sold to, bartered or otherwise transferred to other persons and Loganair may confiscate Reward tickets in such circumstances.


5.1 We collect personal data from you when you register as a member of Clan Loganair. We also collect personal data when you reference your Clan Loganair membership when you make bookings through Loganair’s website and call centre, and when you register to participate in Clan Loganair marketing programs and competitions. The personal data is used for opening and general management of your Clan Loganair membership as described in these Terms and Conditions. It is also used for management and administration of the Clan Loganair scheme, for accounting and auditing purposes, systems testing and development, direct marketing, and marketing research.

5.2 Your personal data is collected and processed in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

5.3 By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you are consenting to provide your personal data for the purposes set out in terms 5.1. If you indicate your agreement to receive special offers by email, your personal data will be used for direct marketing. Your personal data is processed and managed in the UK by Loganair Ltd. It may be transferred outwith the European Union. In such cases, Loganair will take steps to ensure that appropriate technical, operational or security measures are put in place.

5.4 You may update or correct data held in your Clan Loganair Membership by emailing clan@loganair.co.uk Under the UK Data Protection Act 1998, you may request a copy of your personal data held by Loganair Ltd. The request must be in writing and include your name, postal address, and a copy of your photo ID (for example, passport or drivers license) so that we can verify your identity. Sign and date the request. Send the request to: Loganair Ltd. Data Protection Officer, Cirrus Building 9 Marchburn Drive, Paisley PA3 2SJ.

5.5 Any external or sub-processor of your Data will comply fully with the Company Data Protection and Information Security policies.

5.6 Except to the extent that Company is required by a competent authority to release such information your data will not be sold, exchanged or released to any other third parties without your explicit consent.

5.7 Loganair Ltd may update or change the privacy policy Terms and Conditions as required. If the changes are material, we will notify members on our website for a period of 30 days of these changes.
