Loganair celebrates back-to-back victory as SPAA Domestic Airline of the Year

Loganair has been named Domestic Airline of the Year by the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) for the second year running.

The UK’s largest regional airline collected the prestigious award last night (Thursday, 2 November) at the association’s annual awards dinner in Glasgow, attended by over 630 representatives from the UK travel industry.

The award win is especially significant as it is determined by votes from member agents of the SPAA, reflecting the confidence and trust shown in the airline by the Scottish travel trade and the SPAA, the UK's longest-established agents' association. It is the third time in the last five years that Loganair has received the award.

This latest achievement marks the end of a successful year for the airline, with Loganair collecting a unique treble of prestigious awards within the last 12 months. In addition to the SPAA Domestic Airline of the Year award, the airline was also honoured to be named Airline of the Year by the European Regional Airline Association (ERA) and Regional Airline of the Year at the CAPA (Centre for Aviation) Aviation Awards for Excellence.

Jonathan Hinkles, chief executive of Loganair, said:

"Winning the SPAA Domestic Airline of the Year award for the second year in a row is a tremendous achievement, and it’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible team.

Everyone at Loganair has worked incredibly hard to achieve the results that we have seen in recent, challenging years, so it really is special for that to be recognised by this award from our peers in the travel industry."

Greig White, Loganair’s Sales Manager for Scotland, was also a winner for the second year running and was named as the Airline Representative of the Year.
