Free flights for St Andrew’s Day namesakes

Two lucky passengers named Andrew receive complimentary flights from Loganair.

Andrew Anderson and Andrew Stewart, two frequent passengers on Loganair’s Glasgow – Southampton route, have received complimentary flights for their next trip on the network to celebrate St Andrew’s Day.

Each Andrew is a cruise enthusiast, and they often frequent Loganair’s Glasgow – Southampton service for onward travel from Southampton cruise terminals. This time they are coincidentally flying to board the same P&O Caribbean cruise, departing on 1 December, for Christmas and New Year celebrations with their partners.

Andrew Anderson and Andrew Stewart were presented with their complimentary flight vouchers at Glasgow Airport this morning from Loganair’s Materials Support Manager, Andrew Paterson.

Andrew Anderson said:

“What a great bonus ball before our holiday to receive this gift from Loganair. My wife and I love to cruise and have been lucky enough to travel the world from the luxury of the ship. I’m sure we will redeem our flights for a future trip to Southampton to set out on another cruise.”

Andrew Stewart added:

“We often fly with Loganair before a cruise. It’s so convenient, just one stop from our home in Glasgow to Southampton Airport and a short journey to the cruise terminal. Receiving this gift from Loganair is fantastic; my wife and I are already making plans to explore the wider Loganair network and perhaps visit one of the Scottish islands.”

Luke Lovegrove, Loganair’s Chief Commercial Officer, said:

"We truly value our customers and take great pride in facilitating connectivity across the UK and beyond. It was great to present both Andrews, who were flying on our first flight of St Andrew’s Day, with a welcome pre-holiday surprise.”

Services between Glasgow and Southampton, one of Loganair’s busiest routes, currently operate four times daily and will increase to five times daily throughout the airline’s 2023 summer schedule.

The extra flight will increase interconnectivity for businesses across the UK and offers more flexibility for leisure travellers, with a new evening flight allowing for a later departure to and from the Scottish city.

Reservations can be made at www.loganair.co.uk or via travel agents and travel management companies using all major global distribution systems. All routes include a 15kg luggage allowance, and advance booking is encouraged.
