to Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport

Be prepared.

From 20 October 2025, all Loganair flights at Manchester Airport will depart from Terminal 2.

This is part of Manchester Airport’s £1.3 billion transformation, which will provide upgraded facilities and an improved travel experience.

Actions you must take before you travel

1) Car Park Bookings

  • You must update your booking if you booked Meet & Greet or Multi-Storey parking directly with Manchester Airport.
  • You will be moved to the most convenient Terminal 2 car park at no extra charge.
  • Jet Parks and Drop & Go bookings are not affected.

If you booked through a third party, contact your provider directly.

2) Lounge Bookings

  • If you booked a lounge directly with Manchester Airport, confirm your details to ensure transfer to a Terminal 2 lounge.
  • If a transfer is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

If booked via a third party, contact your provider.

3) Additional Assistance

  • If you’ve booked additional assistance, please head to the special assistance reception point in Terminal 2 check-in.

What changes on 20 October 2025?

Flights: All Loganair departures and arrivals move from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2.

Check-in & baggage drop: Now located in Terminal 2. Check-in opens two hours before departure.

Security & boarding: Passengers will use Terminal 2 security and departure gates.

Facilities: Terminal 2 offers modern lounges, improved security areas, and new food and retail outlets.

Flight times: No planned timing changes, only the terminal is changing.

Getting to Terminal 2

  • By car: Follow airport wayfinding to Terminal 2. If you arrive at another terminal by mistake, signage will direct you.
  • Public transport: Trains, trams, and buses serve Manchester Airport station. Terminal 2 is a 10–15 minute walk via covered walkways.
  • Pick-up and drop-off: Use the dedicated Terminal 2 forecourt or short-stay car parks.
  • Transfers between terminals: Walking time between Terminals 1, 2, and 3 is approximately 15–20 minutes.
