Nischal, always in the clouds...

Born in Nepal, Nischal has always been at home in the clouds. It was only natural that he'd find a career path in the skies.

With a background in aeronautical engineering, he knows the flight deck like the back of his hand.

Nischal's Journey to the Skies...

Nischal's flightpath originated from the University of Loughborough, studying aeronautical engineering. After five years in the Airbus Space & Satellite division, Nischal descended several flight levels to his new home in our Embraer 145s.

Driven by his father's passion for aviation, a career in the skies was always on the radar as Nischal joined Loganair in January 2023.

When Off Duty...

Splitting time between his home in Glasgow, visiting his fiance in Nepal and his parent's home in North Yorkshire, Nischal is always on the go. When he does hit pause, Nischal enjoys a night at the movies with friends and gaming, not just sharpening his skills on Flight Simulator.

He is also passionate about his Gurkha heritage from his father and using his position as an inspiration within the community.

The unique hand-flying opportunities Loganair offers at airports like Benbecula and Stornoway is an experience Nischal loves. The precision and expertise required to continually handle the responsibility for safely delivering our customers to their destinations is not something he takes for granted.

Growing up with his father's passion for aviation, he's been in the same shoes as those children who board aircraft with awe and excitement. He always gives a wave, a smile and the occasional sneak peek into the flight deck to make their day.
