Loganair achieves IOSA accreditation, demonstrating unwavering commitment to safety

Loganair has been granted International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration, underscoring its unwavering commitment to adhering to the highest possible safety standards in line with rigorous internationally recognised standards.

IOSA registration is recognised globally as the highest benchmark for airline safety, and the assessment encompassed a comprehensive evaluation of Loganair’s management systems and operational procedures across nine key areas, including flight operations, maintenance, engineering, and ground operations.

The registration also opens up additional opportunities for Loganair, the UK’s largest regional airline, to partner with an even greater number of international airlines to operate code sharing agreements, expanding the choices available for its customers.

Peter Simpson, Executive Chairman, Loganair, said:

“Achieving IOSA registration represents a significant milestone for Loganair and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of multiple teams across the airline.

The safety of our customers and crew is always our top priority at every level of our business, and we are incredibly proud to see that commitment recognised by a global standard in the aviation industry."
