Weather Disruption – Travel Advice for 01 and 02 June 2018
The weather in Shetland has caused disruption to Friday’s flying program, and the fog and low cloud isn’t forecast to improve for Saturday either.
We are aiming to operate all other flights as planned for Saturday, but there may be delays. Please check the status of your flight via loganair.co.uk and select the Travel Information and Flight Status tab.
In view of the weather conditions and potential disruption, we are offering customers travelling on Shetland flights Friday 1st of June, and Saturday 2nd of June, the ability to amend their travel plans and re-book for an alternative flight at any time within the next seven days. There will be no change fee or difference in fare payable to amend your flight to a suitable alternative.
If you hold a reservation on a Loganair flight on 1st or 2nd June and would like to travel on another date between now and Thursday, 7th June, please check seat availability on your desired alternative travel day at www.loganair.co.uk by looking to see if we still have seats available on flights on your route, then give us a call on 0344 800 2855 with your booking reference handy so that we can confirm your booking on your preferred alternative flight.
At this time, our disruption policy only covers travel on Loganair flights to/from Shetland and we are unable to make changes to any onward travel arrangements that you may have in place with other carriers.
If you choose to remain with your original travel plans, please rest assured that we will do everything that we safely can to fly you to your intended destination as close to the scheduled time as possible. We are continuing to plan to fly all our scheduled services, and we have standby aircraft and crews in place to help recover any disrupted services as soon as reasonably possible once weather conditions permit.
