Pets & Assistance Dogs

Pets and Assistance Dogs

Pets are welcome on Loganair’s domestic flights with the exception of routes operated by the following aircraft:

Twin Otter – for Barra, Tiree and Campbeltown

If clarity is required as to which aircraft operates your service, please contact our call centre.

Pets will always be carried in the hold, unless an assistance dog. Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old to travel.

Cats and Dogs

Cats and dogs may be carried as accompanied baggage. The pet checks-in with you at the passenger terminal and re-joins you on arrival in the baggage hall at the destination airport. You are responsible for putting your pet in a suitably approved container. For full details on requirements for pet carriage please click here.

The charge for pet carriage is £50 one-way

In order to carry your pet we must ask you to complete this form at the airport and handed to our agents when your pet is accepted.  The form can be downloaded here.
