HIAL Air Traffic Control Industrial Action – Tuesday 21st May

Due to ongoing industrial action by HIAL air traffic control, we regret to advise that the following flights to and from Stornoway have been cancelled on 13th and 14th May.

Other services to and from Stornoway on these dates may be subject to delays of up to one hour dependent on circumstances prevailing on the day.

Flights cancelled are:

Monday 13 May

-LM478 Glasgow-Stornoway,

-LM479 Stornoway-Glasgow.

 

Tuesday 14 May

-LM341 Edinburgh-Stornoway,

-LM342 Stornoway-Edinburgh,

-LM478 Glasgow-Stornoway,

-LM479 Stornoway-Glasgow.

Customers on impacted flights may elect to travel earlier on Sunday 12th May or postpone travel until Sunday 19th May (subject to seat availability). There will be no charge payable (i.e. the usual change fees plus any difference in fare will be waived for all ticket types).

If your journey involves a connection with another airline, we, unfortunately, cannot guarantee that other airlines will offer the same flexibility to change tickets.  We recommend that customers check with the second airline around their onward travel.   Alternatively, if you elect not to travel, you can request a refund may be taken for any journey or part of a journey not used.
