Fares for Island Communities

The Island Residents Fare Card

The new Island Residents Fare Card grants discounted air travel to residents of Scottish Islands served by Public Service Obligation flights - routes subsidised by the Scottish Government. Specifically, those living in Barra, Tiree, Coll or Vatersay.

Brought to you by Transport Scotland and Loganair, the Residents Fare Card is the new way to ensure the communities that rely on air travel for work, leisure, and all occasions can connect to the mainland for less.

When does this start?

  • The Residents Fare Card is valid for travel from 25 October 2023 until 24 October 2027.

How do I book?

  • You must enter your Island Residents Fare Card ID and PIN number when booking.
