The Course
Machrihanish Golf Club, created in 1876, has established itself worldwide as a first-class natural links course. Described as “specifically designed by the Almighty for playing golf” and once rated the No. 39 course outside of the United States by Golf Digest, the study presents golfers with a challenging and spectacular opening drive across Machrihanish Bay. Little has been changed to disturb the natural scenic beauty of this delightful course.
The first hole is recognised as one of the world’s best, with the brave invited to drive over the beach, and the outward nine follow the hills and hollows among the dunes bordering the Atlantic. Each hole requires accurate tee shots and carefully chosen irons to reach the expertly maintained putting surfaces. The inward nine holes are no less demanding as they stretch back home against the backdrop of the beautiful Kintyre hills, and changes in strength and direction of the wind mean the course provides an entirely new challenge each time it is played.
Itinerary
Board your morning flight from Glasgow for the short 45-minute hop to Campbeltown, with enough time to enjoy stunning views of the unique Argyll landscape below. On landing, you will be whisked by private airport transfer to Machrihanish, just 10 minutes away.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a hot breakfast roll to set you up for the course. On completion of your unforgettable round, lunch will be served. At the end of a memorable day, private transport will take you back to the airport for your return flight to Glasgow – all in time for tea!

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required when booking, with the balance payable six weeks before departure.
If you're booked within six weeks of departure, you'll need to make a payment. Lunch consists of sandwiches and soup. Drinks are extra.
