Fly to Dundee
UNESCO City of Design
Situated on the River Tay, the city of Dundee is synonymous with many iconic brands and industries. From the world-famous Dundee Marmalade that you spread on your toast, to the classic comic books every British kid grew up with, the city is well known for design!
In 2019 the city made it onto the National Geographic Channel’s ‘cool list’ after the opening of the V & A Museum in 2018. The museum is the first one of its kind to be opened outside of London and brings a modern element of design to the city.
Carnoustie celebrates a world-renowned reputation of being one of the greatest golfing destinations. Home to the 147th Open 2018, this course is generally regarded as the toughest of the Open venues and probably the fairest too. The lure of the Old Course at nearby St Andrews beckons all golfing heroes and has hosted The Open 29 times, more than any other venue. Whether you’re a beginner or a golfing pro you’ll find a course right for you near Dundee.
The city is the country’s first UNESCO City of Design and is home to the V & A museum, the first of its kind to be opened in the UK outside of London. The V&A Dundee is housed in a world-class building at the heart of Dundee’s waterfront, hosting major exhibitions, showcasing Scotland’s design heritage and promote contemporary talent.
