Fly to Cardiff

Cardiff, the capital city of Wales is rich in ancient history, with plenty of family attractions and year round events. Spread between an ancient fortress and a modern waterfront its not just the Rugby that draws tourists to the city – although it is a big part of the cities culture!


Cardiff Castle

Nearly 2000 years old Cardiff Castle reflects Arabian, Gothic and Mediterranean styles – having undergone a makeover by architect William Burges in the 19th century. for a birds eye view of the city below, climb to the top of the keep.

Bute Park

Walk along the River Taff, which runs through the park, spot local wildlife, and enjoy a lunch stop. The park forms part of the Taff Trail, a popular path between Cardiff Bay and Brecon. If cycling is more your thing, hire a bike from pedal Power, located just outside the park.

Worlds oldest record shop

Spillers Records opened in 1894, bringing records and a place for musicians to mingle together. It’s moved a few times, but is now perched on the corner of Morgan Arcade. Pop in to rummage through racks of music history.
