Aaron, the high flying Scotsman...

With parents from two different continents, flying to see extended family has been part of the daily routine for Aaron all his life. Over time, naturally, Aaron found his way from the cabin to the flight deck.

Coming from a family in the hotel business, hospitality has been ingrained within Aaron's psyche and feeds through to his customers in the air.

Aaron's Journey to the Skies...

From dishwasher to team manager, Aaron came up through the ranks in the family business. With a strong ethic for hard work, Aaron used this throughout his extensive training to become a pilot. He got his first job in the air when he joined the Loganair team in September 2022, based in the Isle of Man. Following his short stint at the local IOM base, Aaron is now transitioning for a move up to our Glasgow base.

When Off Duty...

They say that being a pilot isn't for the faint-hearted... neither is open-water swimming in freezing temperatures. Aaron's an expert in both and knows how to handle himself in challenging circumstances.

With the sea and the air covered, Aaron also ticks the land off on his list, with regular trips up high for hikes and mountain climbing, so when he is not in the air flying, he's up in the cloud on his own two feet.

The Joy of The Job Itself...

Aaron thought he had escaped the family business, but his mum had other ideas. Recently joining Loganair as a member of our cabin crew, Aaron is looking forward to the day when duties align when he and his mother can both operate on the same flight and bring that famous hospitality background to the forefront.

Moving to the Glasgow base, the thrill of being able to pilot aircraft through some of the most beautiful places in Scotland is highly anticipated. With the diverse range of routes that Loganair flies, Aaron loves showing off the amazing views from the skies with his customers.
