Terms and Conditions

    • The organiser of this competition is Loganair. 
    • The competition runs from Tuesday 30 August and will end on at midnight on Tuesday 13 August 2024.
    • The prize winner will be responsible for ensuring that they have read, understood and accepted the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the competition.
    • The prize-winner must be a UK resident and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry 
    • The prize-winner must be the one travelling and Loganair have the right to ask for ID and proof of name 
    • The entrant (therefore potential winner) accepts Loganair will direct message them via the official Loganair Instagram account ONLY. 
    • Winners will be picked at random, and the winner will be notified by Wednesday 14 August via email.  
    • The competition is not open to Loganair staff or third-party suppliers 

  • The prize winner is responsible for making arrangements with each vendor. 

    Flights 

    • A pair of return flights to Islay from Glasgow with Loganair. 
    • The winner and their travel companion must travel together. 
    • Prize winner flights are strictly subject to availability. 
    • Travel is only permitted on Loganair-operated flights between Glasgow and Islay – codeshare services are not permitted. 
    • Flight vouchers are valid for 12 months 
    • Loganair requires a minimum of 7 days’ notice to process your request. 
    • Vouchers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash in whole or in part. 
    • Name changes, extensions or route changes are not permitted. 
    • Liability with regards to travel documentation rests solely with the prize winner. 
    • Travel is subject to Loganair’s standard conditions of carriage prevailing at the time of travel. 
    • Prize winners should be flexible with choice of flights/dates and prize winner seats are subject to availability 

    Accommodation - The Machrie

    • A two-night bed and breakfast stay for 2 people at The Machrie.  
    • Prize is valid for 12 months. 
    • Subject to availability.
    • Excluding school holidays.
    • Not refundable, transferable or exchangeable for cash.

    Whisky Tour and Tasting - Bruichladdich

    • A private whisky tour and tasting for 2 people at the Bruichladdich Distillery. 
    • Winners should be flexible in their choice of dates.
    • Distillery tour and tasting voucher are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
    • Vouchers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash in whole or in part.
    • Subject to availability. 

    Parking Access, Fast Track Security and Upper Deck Lounge Access @ Glasgow Airport 

    • Two Glasgow Airport Priority Security passes to be used on day of the Loganair Islay flight departure. Valid until 14th of August 2025.
    • One car parking space at the Glasgow Airport official car park for the duration of the trip to Islay. Valid until 14th of August 2025
    • Two passes into the Upper Deck at Glasgow Airport to be used on the day of the Loganair Islay flight departure. Valid until 14th of August 2025.
    • No cash alternatives will be substituted for the prize.
