General Advice

Coronavirus - Covid 19 has had an unprecedented impact on the travel industry, including Loganair. It is a new and evolving challenge which faces our customers, our organisation and our own staff. 

As a result, we're continually reviewing internal processes and procedures to help our customers as best as we can, given the circumstances we all face.

In response to changes in customer demand and in some cases, restrictions imposed by governments, we have been required to make changes to our flying programme. We appreciate this is inconvenient for customers who have had to postpone or cancel their travel plans but please ask for your understanding that in these cases, unfortunately, we have been left with no alternative. 



  • As events are fast-moving, please check your emails periodically - if we have not contacted you via email, your flight is currently scheduled as planned
  • If you need to speak to us directly, we kindly ask you to help us by only contacting our Contact Centre if you are due to travel within the next 7 days, this will really help us help all our customers



Extra Flexibility

For any customer holding a booking for travel prior to 31 May

  • Loganair is offering one opportunity to change flights to alternative dates without a change fee to allow re-booking for travel prior to 31 December*

* Date changes only, you may be required to pay a fare difference if the date for your new date of travel is higher.

Put Your Booking "On-Hold"

For customers with a booking for travel prior to 31 May, Loganair is offering one opportunity to place your booking on hold, in the event you do not know your future travel date

*Once customers with bookings "on-hold" wish to confirm new travel dates, change fees for the date changes will not apply, though if the newly chosen dates/flights have a higher fare than that within your original booking, a fare difference may apply.

Your health and well-being.

The health of our staff and customers is of the utmost importance to us.

In line with WHO guidance, we have equipped our crew with hand sanitizer and gloves, and our aircraft are undergoing regular intensive cleaning. 

Please note, our cabin service has been temporarily suspended so as to eliminate extraneous interaction between people.

We are in regular contact with authorities and will amend procedures if guidance changes.


Route Suspensions.

Regretfully, all flights

  • To/from Norway, Germany, Denmark and Republic of Ireland have been cancelled until 31st May
  • Between Edinburgh-Norwich have been cancelled until 31st May
  • Between Glasgow-Exeter have been cancelled until 31st May

Customers with existing bookings are being contacted directly to be presented with their options. 

Call Volumes 

Loganair has always maintained the importance of an in-house, UK-based call centre, thus our experienced but smaller team are working exceptionally hard to help at the moment. To help us help you, if your call does not relate to travel within the next 7 days, we kindly ask you to call back later so we can prioritise those who need assistance first. We appreciate your understanding.
