BA Celebrates 1st Anniversary Of Edinburgh Services

1st June 2007

Loganair Limited, operating as British Airways, has celebrated the first anniversary of services from Isle of Man to Edinburgh.

Since launching services in May 2006, over 10,000 customers have taken advantage of the chance to fly direct to Edinburgh.

Services this summer have improved timings, departing Edinburgh at 1450 arriving in Isle of Man at 1550, with return flights from Isle of Man on weekdays at 1615 arriving in Edinburgh at 1710.

Sunday services are at 1850 from Edinburgh with the return service at 2015 from Isle of Man, conveniently timed for weekend breaks in Edinburgh and for Scottish travellers visiting the Island.

David Neill, Chief Commercial Officer commented, "we are delighted with the growth in passenger numbers since starting this service. Edinburgh is the financial heart of Scotland and our business customers have responded very positively to the direct link between two financial centres. Equally, our leisure customers are taking advantage of visiting one of Europe's top city-break destinations".

With fares starting from £78 return, there's never been a better opportunity to visit Edinburgh.
