Loganair is not currently recruiting pilots, but welcomes applications via the online application system.
Loganair’s minimum requirements vary according to the position we are recruiting for, and these are specified below. We always consider each application on its individual merits, and if you feel you are suitable for joining our team of dedicated flying professionals, then please complete the online application below.

The minimum requirements by fleet are:
SAAB SF340
Captains
UK or JAR ATPL(A)*. Applicants should have a current multi engine IR and a Minimum of 2,500 hours total flying time, including 500-hrs on multi-pilot types.
A valid MCC Certificate or exemption is also required.
First Officers
UK or JAR Frozen ATPL(A)* With current multi engine IR. 35 hours as pilot of aeroplanes during 12 months prior to application. Valid MCC Certificate or exemption.
DHC-6 Twin Otter
Captains
Loganair does not accept applications for Direct Entry Commands on the DHC-6.
First Officers
UK or JAR Frozen ATPL(A)* With current multi engine IR. 35 hours as pilot of aeroplanes during 12 months prior to application. Valid MCC Certificate or exemption.
BN2 Islander
Captains
UK or JAR Frozen ATPL(A)* With current multi engine IR. Minimum of 2,000 hours total flying time, including 500 Hours Multi Engine Piston. Valid MCC Certificate or exemptions.
*Loganair require that non UK issued JAA licences are changed for UK issued JAA licences after 6 months and prior to 12 months of employment.
